Marion, MA Marion, MA Full-time Full-time $85,000 - $125,000 a year $85,000 - $125,000 a year Director of Human Resources Reports to Executive Director Position Summary The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the management of all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, hiring, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and payroll.
The Director of Human Resources also oversees the payroll function and participates in the hiring process to ensure compliance with state and federal law.
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for recruitment and selection of employees to support the organization's mission and vision.
Hires employees through interviews and offers.
Interviewing is a key component of the hiring process.
It begins with a thorough background check that includes drug tests and reference checks.
Interviews employees to determine their skills, competencies, and abilities.
Develops performance plans that address employee growth, skill development, and/or challenges.
Reviews employee performance, compensation, and other factors related to long-term retention.
Develops policies and procedures related to human resources including recruitment, hiring, benefits administration, termination of employment, discipline of an employee, return to work programs, leave of absence without leave; training programs; attendance policies; drug testing programs; termination without notice; leave without pay; compounding; probationary periods; severance benefits; retirement benefits; employee relations programs; internal control systems.
Experience:
Minimum five years' experience in human resources or related field required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and a clean driving history.
Must be willing to submit to a background check for employment in accordance with state law.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
